Chocolate Box 2020 letter
Dear author or artist, thank you for checking out my letter. I am requesting both art and fic for all pairings and I'm going to split my likes into a few themed lists so it will be easy to skip a section if it is a squick for you. I like a pretty big variety of things, so don't be afraid to branch out beyond my likes and prompts as long as you don't hit a DNW. I only use this dreamwidth for exchange letters, so if you want more ideas beyond my prompts in this letter, feel free to look for the same pairings in older letters, or adapt a prompt from a different pairing to the one you want to write. I never really fully lose interest in anything. (Ignore my dnws in old letters, I have broadened my horizons a bit since I first started doing exchanges, so if something was listed as a DNW in an old letter and not in this one, I removed it from the list intentionally.)
Some of my prompts lend themselves more to longer fic, so a single scene that could fit into the context of a given prompt is also great! I just tend to get carried away. You also don't have to use my prompts at all if you have your own idea, I also really enjoy surprises. For a mundane canon like Yuri on Ice, A/B/O is fine, and for a sci-fi canon like Voltron, A/B/O elements can be used for aliens or half-aliens because at that point it is just alien biology. I have a general preference for Mpreg and Fpreg that is built into the worldbuilding somehow instead of going AU, but if you have to go a little AU to make it work that is totally fine. If you do go A/B/O, I don't like the wolf pack stuff. I really only like it as a convenient excuse for mpreg, fpreg, and heat sex.
● Characters having to adjust to parenthood on the fly with no clue what they are doing (but trying their best!)
● Pregnancy coming at an inconvenient time, like in a brand new relationship or while in deep space on a mission.
● Pregnancy that the pregnant person didn’t even think was possible, so it’s a huge surprise
● Belly. Rub the belly, touch the belly, love the belly, kiss the belly.
● Pregnancy that is anywhere between serious body horror and a complete non-issue, but endured anyway (in the case of body horror) because the baby is loved and wanted.
● Finding out about the pregnancy and telling people for the first time.
● That tiny little barely starting to show baby bump.
● Trying to recreate the bizarre circumstances that led to baby #1 while planning baby #2
● Friends supporting a single or widowed friend through pregnancy and parenting.
● Good parenting under less than ideal circumstances
● Parents facing residual issues from their own childhood.
● I have no preference for which half of my M/M or F/F ships gets pregnant, but in het ships I prefer for it to be the man.
● “It takes a village” Friends and family helping out with kids.
● For mpreg, I have a preference for external anatomy to match the standard cis male equipment (internal anatomy is a different story of course) but I’m flexible. If you have to give them a bonus hole to be able to wrap your head around it and not squick yourself, that's fine. It’s also fine to just completely gloss over it and not get specific, or in cases where the character was not expected to be able to get pregnant in the first place, just have them plan for a C-section. In cases where mpreg is normal for their species, I would like a little line about why this specific character has to have a surgical birth, otherwise I start wondering how the species survived long enough to invent the C-section if all men of the species can get pregnant but not give birth naturally.
Smut Likes:
● Switching
● First times of all kinds (first time overall, first time together, first time doing a specific sex act, etc)
● Trying new kinks together, whether they actually end up liking or not. Deciding in the middle of trying something out that "...actually, this is not for me, lets do something else" can be pretty entertaining.
● Hand holding, looking into each other’s eyes

● Characters being overwhelmed, in a good way
● Laughing during sex, things not going completely as planned but still finding a way to have a good time.

● Setting change AU (If you can tie it back to the canon universe somehow, it’s fine)
● Unrequested poly ships. (I am open to requested ships having a one-off threesome with someone else, just no actual 3+ person relationships unless requested)
● Trans or asexual headcanons
● Unrequested non-canon het ships.
● Cheating/infidelity (If a requested character is in a canon relationship, either break them up before the story starts, or write it as though the canon couple was never together)
● Permanent major character death. Killing villains and OC’s is fine, mentioning or even focusing on canon character death is fine. I just don't want any new deaths.
● Incest
● Noncon with a person trusted by the victim as the aggressor. If you write noncon, the rapist must be a villain or original character.
● Graphic sexual content involving a character under 16, Any sexual content including non graphic (such as fade to black) involving a character under 14. (For art, characters depicted must be 18 or older!)
● Character or ship bashing
● Hurt that is coming from someone trusted by the victim. Accidents and having to hurt them to save them is fine. Something like a vehicle accident or having to cut off a limb to have any hope of getting them out before the building fully collapses would be great, I just don't want a breech of trust to be a part of the hurt.
● Thoughts of suicide. Even when things look dire, I want the character to be determined to at least try to live.
● Castration, permanent loss of sexual function.
● Bestiality (I mean involving real animals or fantasy animals closely resembling real animals. Dragon fucking, tentacle monsters, and that sort of thing are fine regardless of the level of sentience)
● Feminization (such as a focus on breast growth or frilly maternity clothes in an mpreg fic) unless used as body horror.
● Using animal terms to refer to a pregnancy or baby (pup, kit, litter, etc)
● Ageplay, daddy kink, mommy kink
● Sad or hopeless endings.
● Breakups or betrayals.

Mako/Prince Wu
I love this ship as sort of an opposites attract type deal. From the outside it doesn't look like it should work, but it does. I prefer to ignore the comics canon, as I have only read the first couple of them, but if there is something in there you feel is worth including, then feel free. I do know that the comics established that there is homophobia in the Avatar world. I'm fine with including it or ignoring it, but I would rather it not be the whole focus of the fic. Having it be an extra consideration before starting their relationship or going public with it is fine, I just don't want it to be the entire focus.
Fic prompts:
- Wu has some sort of arranged marriage type agreement from back when he still lived in Ba Sing Se. With the deadline approaching he is desperate for any way to get out of it. He realizes that the only way around it is if he breaks the contract by marrying someone else first. Established (but still new) relationship, or mutual pining would be best. I have a lot of more specific marriage prompts in my just married letter.
- The war in the Earth Kingdom and Republic City decimated the human population and created an imbalance between the four elements. A "helpful" spirit with no regard for human biology decides to fix this resulting in mpreg, (for either of them, but it would be especially funny if it was Mako.)
- During the course of doing his usual job, Mako finds a very small abandoned child and is told to take the kid to the orphanage. He takes them home instead. I have a toddler in mind, but a baby or older kid would also be good! I have a lot of more specific adoption prompts in my kidfic letter.
- Mako gets hurt in the line of duty and Wu has to take care of him. Probably with Mako stubbornly insisting he is fine, and Wu really not liking the sight of blood but determined to help anyway. You could also set this in the short time skip between Mako being injured while blowing up the vine weapon, and the Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding.
- Mako's grandma's reaction to their relationship. I think she would be overjoyed to officially welcome Wu into the family, in universe stigma or no.
- Some sort of plant spirit makes sex pollen. You'll never believe who gets exposed.
- Their relationship's awkward beginning, because it would be super awkward.
- Double date with Korra and Asami, or triple date with Korra/Asami, and Bolin/Opal.
- Their first time having sex.
- Self-discovery.
Art prompts:
- Anything you can imagine as a scene from one of the fic prompts.
- I will never say no to porn.
- A kiss.
- Awkwardly holding hands in public, maybe blushing and looking away.
- A newspaper or tabloid picture revealing their relationship or marriage with a picture of them having fun together or engaging in some light PDA.
- A family portrait. Either of Wu being accepted into Mako's family, or the two of them in the future with their kid(s).
Voltron: Legendary Defender
Season 8 is sort of the elephant in the room where any Voltron request is concerned. I'm fine with any approach to the season, anything from it never happened to parts of it happened but not everything, to everything including the epilogue happened and the fic builds from there to fix it. If any prompt hints at a specific approach, I'm completely fine with changing it to match your preference. I'm also completely fine with canon divergence from an earlier point.
Background ships are welcome and appreciated. I especially like Acxa/Veronica, Allura/Pidge, Allura/Lance, Zethrid/Ezor, Coran/Kolivan, and Hunk/Kinkade. My completely baseless crack ship is Curtis/James, with Curtis as Shiro's ex and James as Keith's ex. Any M/M or F/F ship or canon ship that doesn't conflict with Sheith or Kromelle is good.
Krolia/Romelle
We didn't see a whole lot of them interacting in canon, so that leaves pretty much free reign to write them however you want. I like the idea of Romelle being the one to pursue Krolia, with Krolia being amused by it at first but eventually Romelle starts to grow on her.
Fic Prompts:
- Confession, first kiss.
- Sneaking around like a couple of teenagers
- Keith finding out about their relationship.
- Smut. These aliens are hot and should bang. I have simple tastes. Romelle can probably shape shift and that sure is neat.
- Making time for each other between missions.
- Friends with benefits just trying to blow off some steam until it turns into more.
- Sex pollen that is really just a convenient excuse for something they wanted to do anyway.
- Whoops, they made a baby somehow. Now there is no way they can keep their relationship secret.
- Getting caught by Kolivan and Coran and agreeing that Kolivan and Coran won't say anything to Keith if Krolia and Romelle promise not to say anything to Allura.

Keith/Shiro
I would like anything from a canon divergence fic where they got together during the events of the series, to a post-canon fic where Shiro is recently divorced. If you go the route where Shiro was married, I don't want them to have lost touch, and I don't want Keith to have been virginally pining away. I want them to have remained friends, and for Keith to have some relationship experience, or at least hookup experience. I also don't want Shiro's divorce to have anything to do with Keith, as that gets too close to my infidelity squick.
Fic Prompts:
- Any variation on getting together, first kiss, etc.
- First time having sex, or trying something new during sex. (I have no top/bottom preference)
- Getting stuck in a time loop together and doing increasingly risky or ridiculous things knowing there won't be any consequences, only for the time loop to end when they wake up married in vegas or space vegas.
- Threesome with a Shiro clone/Foursome with two Shiro clones who are dating each other. Bonus points for Shiro/Shiro content and not just a Keith sandwich (although a Keith sandwich would still be fantastic, let the boy live his dream)
- Keith having strange alien biology or anatomy that he has to explain to Shiro before they get intimate for the first time.
- One taking care of the other after a serious injury. Something like a really bad accident or mission gone wrong.
- Mpreg, with either of them being the one who is pregnant. I especially like when it is a surprise that neither of them expected to be possible, and built into the world somehow. Either an alien biology thing or a clone body thing. Space magic is also good. I have a ton of more specific prompts in my kidfic exchange letter.
- Sex pollen, especially the mutual pining variation, or the only one partner affected variation. Maybe Keith's galra side makes him susceptible or immune.
- They are held captive together, maybe they landed on a planet that had not yet had contact with alien life and end up held in an area 51-type facility.
- They are in a building, ship, space station, etc and it is burning or collapsing and Keith gets pinned by the rubble. In order to have any hope of getting Keith out alive, Shiro has to cut off the limb that is pinned (I am thinking a leg, but an arm is also good), leading to feelings about the loss of his arm and concern that Keith blames him on some level for making the decision he did while taking care of Keith during his recovery. Keith doesn't blame him and is glad to be alive, even if what had to happen really sucks.
- Shiro rescuing Keith.
- Proposal or wedding. I have a lot of more specific wedding/marriage prompts in my just married letter.
- Wedding night/honeymoon
- Exploring space together during peace time.
- One of them rescues a baby or toddler on a mission and gets attached and ends up keeping them. I prefer for the kid to be at least humanoid, no weird little squids.
- A retired but very bored Shiro showing up on Keith's doorstep looking for adventure. Building a relationship from there.
- Sickfic, either a standard illness or one of them was poisoned. Maybe Keith was targeted for being Galra.
Art Prompts
- Anything that looks like it could be a scene from one of the fic prompts.
- Soft facial expressions, just looking totally in love.
- I like Keith's post-canon look with the ponytail/leather jacket combo. I don't like Shiro's 6 chin hairs, his glasses are fine but optional.
- Sunsets
- One of them introducing a baby or toddler that he got attached to on a mission to the other.
- Porn.
- Preparing for baby, either putting a nursery together, or one of them doting on the other who is pregnant.
- Sneaking into some deserted corner or storage closet.
- One taking care of the other during an illness, injury, or pregnancy.

Yuri Plisetsky/Otabek Altin
I like this ship as a slow burn friends to lovers sort of relationship. The kind where everyone thinks they are dating long before they actually are. You don't have to write it as having happened that way though, as long as you don't age Yuri down at all.
Fic Prompts
- Otabek coming to Russia to train
- One of them finds himself having to take a season off due to an unplanned pregnancy, the other promises to win for all three of them. I'm fine with A/B/O or just making the world a little bit more magical and mysterious.
- Yuri P. has a growth spurt and is suddenly awkward on his long legs and taller than Otabek.
- Hiding from the press.
- One of them has to take a season off due to an injury. The injury could happen on or off the ice. (I'm thinking something like a broken leg, but I'm sure whatever you decide to write will be great)
- Pre-relationship Yuri discovers in-universe RPF of him and Otabek and can't stop reading it in secret.
- Adopting a cat together. Alternatively, Otabek coming home to find Yuri with another cat or two.
- Any of the big relationship "firsts." First confession, first kiss, first time having sex, first time spending the night together, etc.

Victor Nikiforov/Yuuri Katsuki
I don't have a lot to say about this ship because it is pretty much already canon. I love them as they are and would enjoy both missing scenes and post-canon looks at their relationship.
Fic Prompts:
- One of them has to take a season off due to an injury, the injury could have happened on or off the ice. If it is Victor it might mean knowing he was at the end of his career anyway and will be retiring due to the injury. (Well, retiring again.)
- Unplanned pregnancy, either in an A/B/O AU (the type that is just a thin justification for heat sex and mpreg) or because the world is just a little bit more magical and mysterious. This may mean early retirement or taking a season off for the one who is pregnant, or it may happen far enough into the future for him to have already retired.

● Thoughts of suicide. Even when things look dire, I want the character to be determined to at least try to live.
● Castration, permanent loss of sexual function.
● Bestiality (I mean involving real animals or fantasy animals closely resembling real animals. Dragon fucking, tentacle monsters, and that sort of thing are fine regardless of the level of sentience)
● Feminization (such as a focus on breast growth or frilly maternity clothes in an mpreg fic) unless used as body horror.
● Using animal terms to refer to a pregnancy or baby (pup, kit, litter, etc)

Mako/Prince Wu
I love this ship as sort of an opposites attract type deal. From the outside it doesn't look like it should work, but it does. I prefer to ignore the comics canon, as I have only read the first couple of them, but if there is something in there you feel is worth including, then feel free. I do know that the comics established that there is homophobia in the Avatar world. I'm fine with including it or ignoring it, but I would rather it not be the whole focus of the fic. Having it be an extra consideration before starting their relationship or going public with it is fine, I just don't want it to be the entire focus.
Fic prompts:
- Wu has some sort of arranged marriage type agreement from back when he still lived in Ba Sing Se. With the deadline approaching he is desperate for any way to get out of it. He realizes that the only way around it is if he breaks the contract by marrying someone else first. Established (but still new) relationship, or mutual pining would be best. I have a lot of more specific marriage prompts in my just married letter.
- The war in the Earth Kingdom and Republic City decimated the human population and created an imbalance between the four elements. A "helpful" spirit with no regard for human biology decides to fix this resulting in mpreg, (for either of them, but it would be especially funny if it was Mako.)
- During the course of doing his usual job, Mako finds a very small abandoned child and is told to take the kid to the orphanage. He takes them home instead. I have a toddler in mind, but a baby or older kid would also be good! I have a lot of more specific adoption prompts in my kidfic letter.
- Mako gets hurt in the line of duty and Wu has to take care of him. Probably with Mako stubbornly insisting he is fine, and Wu really not liking the sight of blood but determined to help anyway. You could also set this in the short time skip between Mako being injured while blowing up the vine weapon, and the Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding.
- Mako's grandma's reaction to their relationship. I think she would be overjoyed to officially welcome Wu into the family, in universe stigma or no.
- Some sort of plant spirit makes sex pollen. You'll never believe who gets exposed.
- Their relationship's awkward beginning, because it would be super awkward.
- Double date with Korra and Asami, or triple date with Korra/Asami, and Bolin/Opal.
- Their first time having sex.
- Self-discovery.
Art prompts:
- Anything you can imagine as a scene from one of the fic prompts.

- Awkwardly holding hands in public, maybe blushing and looking away.

Season 8 is sort of the elephant in the room where any Voltron request is concerned. I'm fine with any approach to the season, anything from it never happened to parts of it happened but not everything, to everything including the epilogue happened and the fic builds from there to fix it. If any prompt hints at a specific approach, I'm completely fine with changing it to match your preference. I'm also completely fine with canon divergence from an earlier point.
Background ships are welcome and appreciated. I especially like Acxa/Veronica, Allura/Pidge, Allura/Lance, Zethrid/Ezor, Coran/Kolivan, and Hunk/Kinkade. My completely baseless crack ship is Curtis/James, with Curtis as Shiro's ex and James as Keith's ex. Any M/M or F/F ship or canon ship that doesn't conflict with Sheith or Kromelle is good.
Krolia/Romelle
We didn't see a whole lot of them interacting in canon, so that leaves pretty much free reign to write them however you want. I like the idea of Romelle being the one to pursue Krolia, with Krolia being amused by it at first but eventually Romelle starts to grow on her.
Fic Prompts:
- Confession, first kiss.
- Sneaking around like a couple of teenagers
- Keith finding out about their relationship.
- Smut. These aliens are hot and should bang. I have simple tastes. Romelle can probably shape shift and that sure is neat.
- Making time for each other between missions.
- Friends with benefits just trying to blow off some steam until it turns into more.
- Sex pollen that is really just a convenient excuse for something they wanted to do anyway.
- Whoops, they made a baby somehow. Now there is no way they can keep their relationship secret.
- Getting caught by Kolivan and Coran and agreeing that Kolivan and Coran won't say anything to Keith if Krolia and Romelle promise not to say anything to Allura.

Keith/Shiro
I would like anything from a canon divergence fic where they got together during the events of the series, to a post-canon fic where Shiro is recently divorced. If you go the route where Shiro was married, I don't want them to have lost touch, and I don't want Keith to have been virginally pining away. I want them to have remained friends, and for Keith to have some relationship experience, or at least hookup experience. I also don't want Shiro's divorce to have anything to do with Keith, as that gets too close to my infidelity squick.
Fic Prompts:
- Any variation on getting together, first kiss, etc.
- First time having sex, or trying something new during sex. (I have no top/bottom preference)
- Getting stuck in a time loop together and doing increasingly risky or ridiculous things knowing there won't be any consequences, only for the time loop to end when they wake up married in vegas or space vegas.
- Threesome with a Shiro clone/Foursome with two Shiro clones who are dating each other. Bonus points for Shiro/Shiro content and not just a Keith sandwich (although a Keith sandwich would still be fantastic, let the boy live his dream)
- Keith having strange alien biology or anatomy that he has to explain to Shiro before they get intimate for the first time.
- One taking care of the other after a serious injury. Something like a really bad accident or mission gone wrong.
- Mpreg, with either of them being the one who is pregnant. I especially like when it is a surprise that neither of them expected to be possible, and built into the world somehow. Either an alien biology thing or a clone body thing. Space magic is also good. I have a ton of more specific prompts in my kidfic exchange letter.
- Sex pollen, especially the mutual pining variation, or the only one partner affected variation. Maybe Keith's galra side makes him susceptible or immune.
- They are held captive together, maybe they landed on a planet that had not yet had contact with alien life and end up held in an area 51-type facility.
- They are in a building, ship, space station, etc and it is burning or collapsing and Keith gets pinned by the rubble. In order to have any hope of getting Keith out alive, Shiro has to cut off the limb that is pinned (I am thinking a leg, but an arm is also good), leading to feelings about the loss of his arm and concern that Keith blames him on some level for making the decision he did while taking care of Keith during his recovery. Keith doesn't blame him and is glad to be alive, even if what had to happen really sucks.
- Shiro rescuing Keith.
- Proposal or wedding. I have a lot of more specific wedding/marriage prompts in my just married letter.
- Wedding night/honeymoon
- Exploring space together during peace time.
- One of them rescues a baby or toddler on a mission and gets attached and ends up keeping them. I prefer for the kid to be at least humanoid, no weird little squids.
- A retired but very bored Shiro showing up on Keith's doorstep looking for adventure. Building a relationship from there.
- Sickfic, either a standard illness or one of them was poisoned. Maybe Keith was targeted for being Galra.

I like this ship as a slow burn friends to lovers sort of relationship. The kind where everyone thinks they are dating long before they actually are. You don't have to write it as having happened that way though, as long as you don't age Yuri down at all.
Fic Prompts
- Otabek coming to Russia to train
- One of them finds himself having to take a season off due to an unplanned pregnancy, the other promises to win for all three of them. I'm fine with A/B/O or just making the world a little bit more magical and mysterious.
- Yuri P. has a growth spurt and is suddenly awkward on his long legs and taller than Otabek.
- Hiding from the press.
- One of them has to take a season off due to an injury. The injury could happen on or off the ice. (I'm thinking something like a broken leg, but I'm sure whatever you decide to write will be great)

I don't have a lot to say about this ship because it is pretty much already canon. I love them as they are and would enjoy both missing scenes and post-canon looks at their relationship.

- One of them has to take a season off due to an injury, the injury could have happened on or off the ice. If it is Victor it might mean knowing he was at the end of his career anyway and will be retiring due to the injury. (Well, retiring again.)
- Unplanned pregnancy, either in an A/B/O AU (the type that is just a thin justification for heat sex and mpreg) or because the world is just a little bit more magical and mysterious. This may mean early retirement or taking a season off for the one who is pregnant, or it may happen far enough into the future for him to have already retired.
- They discover in universe RPF of themselves and can't stop reading it. Maybe one of them starts writing it in secret to try to "correct" the things the fics are getting wrong.
- Yuuri gets gold, they elope that night.
