There are two ways to post a treat to a collection.
The first way is to go to the collection profile and click the "post to collection" button, which is at the top of the page:

This screenshot was taken on mobile. On a computer it will still be at the top of the page, but at the top right part of the screen instead of the top center part of the screen.
Once you click that button it will take you to the page to post a new work. Scroll down to the box that says "Associations" and the collection will be pre-filled. Below that there is a box that says "Gift this work to" just type the name of your intended recipient in that box and then post as normal.

The part of the screenshot I have marked out is an assignment I have open right now. If you have any open assignments, make sure the box next to it is unchecked.
The other way is to post a work as normal and type the collection name under "Post to Collections/Challenges" instead of going to the exchange profile. Both ways work equally well.
