Likes
My tags mostly fall into three categories, so I’ll try to organize my likes accordingly.
General
• Mutual support. I love it when they’re on the same side when tackling whatever issue comes up. I definitely like “Otayuri vs the problem” far better than “Otabek and Yuri vs each other” for conflict within the fic.
• I like all stages of their relationship, from getting together to being married for 50 years.
• Happy or at least hopeful endings.
• Fic set in the canon universe, or an AU that is very close to the canon universe (like they’re still skaters or former skaters and omegaverse is a thing, or the world is slightly magical, or soulmates are a thing)
Sex
• Sweet sappy vanilla lovemaking
• Similar experience levels. I like it better when either they’re each other’s first, or they’ve both had other partners and tried similar things before than when one is experienced and teaching the other.
• Switching. I’m happy to read either one topping or bottoming.
• Kink exploration, especially if it’s new for both of them. If you go for anything with D/s vibes I prefer a subby Otabek.
• For omegaverse, I like omega/omega or beta/omega couples, and prefer for the omega’s external anatomy to look the same as a beta's.
• Non-penetrative sex. There’s no need to skip straight to anal every time when so many other things are also fun. Frottage, handjobs, oral, intercrural, etc. Especially for first times, or if they’re in a place where they don’t have access to lube.

• Touching the belly. It is very important that the belly is touched. Even if they just found out and it’s still flat. Touching the belly is vital to my id.
• Switching, whatever that means to you. It might mean Otabek is pregnant with their second because Yuri had the first, or it might mean whichever one is pregnant is also topping during sex. Maybe they’re both omegas and the non-pregnant one is going through his heat.
• Fan and social media reactions to the news.
• Get as detailed as you want about any part of pregnant or postpartum life. You can’t gross me out. You can center the entire fic around vomiting and constipation, or dealing with hemorrhoids and I’ll be cool with it.
• You don’t have to talk about it at all, but it throws me out a little when all pregnant men have to have c-sections and can’t lactate. You don’t have to write assbirth and breastfeeding if you don’t want to, but the c-section should be needed for this guy specifically, not all guys, and formula feeding should either be a choice that was made, or something they do after trying and failing to breastfeed. Unless you’ve worldbuilt it in a way where mpreg is usually not possible at all and some magic happened. It’s also fine to just not mention it, especially if the fic is set in the early part of the pregnancy. I just don’t like thinking about how humanity managed to survive throughout history when men can get pregnant but not give birth naturally or feed their babies.
Major Character Injury
• Broken limbs, amputation, spinal injuries, facial trauma, eye injuries (prefer one over both).
• Very serious injuries where a full recovery isn’t going to be possible and adapting to a new normal.
• Less serious injuries that would have probably healed fine if he had gotten help in time, but now it won’t. Maybe a hidden injury because he wanted to compete instead of resting, or maybe it happened while stranded and it took ages to be found.
• Infection, fever, delirium.
• Making tough choices, either on their own behalf, or on behalf of the other who is unconscious. Choices like sacrificing a limb to save his life, or go through a risky surgery that might improve function in a damaged limb but could also make it worse.
• Supportive caretaking. Helping as much as is welcome without pushing. Being there for each other.
• If they still live long distance, the uninjured one hopping on a plane and rushing to the other’s side to help him through his recovery.
• Gentle, careful sex.
• Trying to help each other while both injured in different ways.
• I enjoy all levels of graphic detail, and I can't get grossed out in text. It's okay to gloss over things, but if you want to and are comfortable getting descriptive about things like bones poking through skin, or puddles of blood, or a shard of metal sticking out of an eye, I'm here for that.
Do Not Want
● Use of feminine gendered terms for male characters, such as mom, wife, princess, etc
● Use of animal terms to describe a baby or pregnancy (Nicknaming the baby is fine, I mean things like referring to babies in general as pups or kits, or pregnancies as a litter)
● Break ups, infidelity, or suspicion of infidelity
● Daddy kink
● Rule 63/gender swap
● Trans or asexual headcanons for requested characters (fine for characters outside the main pairing)
● Permanent memory or personality altering head injuries. (Head injuries leading to temporary memory or personality issues or something mild like not being able to remember the day of the injury is fine. Head injuries that lead to literally anything else is also fine)
● Death of requested characters or their children (miscarriage is fine). Death and grief over canon characters who are under 30 at the time of canon (easier to draw the line here than to try to make a do not kill list, lol). Death of the older generation characters is fine. OC death is fine.
Tags
Character trapped under wall or pillar must have leg amputated for rescue
A lot of emotions here. Maybe it was a scenario where he had to be moved quickly, like a burning building, or maybe he was trapped for a long enough period of time for it to be necessary to prevent the rush of toxic buildup from killing him when the wall or pillar is lifted. I would love to see some of the recovery. Maybe Yuri got his own place in a really run down apartment complex that is behind on maintenance and the building collapses, or maybe they’re both caught in something like an earthquake or gas line explosion.
I originally pictured a scenario where one was holding the other’s hand or supporting him from afar through a video call while the amputation was done by a trained doctor with pain killers because the emotional pain of this is already a lot, but then I thought about the burning building scenario and making hard choices in the moment and one of them taking matters into his own hands to get the other out and I’m fine with that too.
Badly injured character finds out they are pregnant in the hospital
“The good news is your baby is okay.” “What baby?”
Something new to focus on while recovering.
Maybe while he was unconscious the other was told about the pregnancy and assumed he must have known and just hadn’t told him yet.
Unplanned pregnancy between mutually pining friends with benefits
It would complicate things, but probably give them the push they need to actually get together.
Wrong character pregnant after long time trying to conceive
Which character is the wrong one and why is up to you. Maybe one had their first kid so it’s the other’s turn. Maybe Otabek is retired and Yuri is still skating. Maybe Yuri wanted to document the whole thing on instagram but Otabek is more private. There are a lot of ways to go and they’re all a lot of fun.
Character swore to never get pregnant again after past miscarriage but has happier ending this time
They always wanted kids, but after a series of bad luck they decided that probably just wasn’t going to happen for them and tried to accept it and move on, only for him to get pregnant again unexpectedly.
First time sex more gentle and emotional than expected
I just really like sweet, gentle first times.
Adapting to new disability
adapting to permanent injury
Grouping these two together. I like both physical and emotional recovery. Trying to find new hobbies and figure out how to move forward.
Character beaten within an inch of their life by OC bad guy
Maybe a fan of another skater wants to keep him out of a competition (other skater was uninvolved). Maybe Yuri mouthed off to the wrong person. Maybe it was a random attack. Maybe one of them stepped in to protect someone else and got his ass kicked. There are a lot of ways this could come up.
Old Injuries Acting Up
Post-retirement and still dealing with the aches and pains of former injuries. I would love a fic about them growing old together.
Natural disaster leads to survival situation
Maybe they’re camping and end up surrounded by a forest fire. Maybe they’re stuck in rising waters during a flood. Maybe they’re trapped in a collapsed building after an earthquake. Maybe they’re caught in a blizzard and have to try to find shelter. Anything you can come up with is great.
Stranded Together & Have To Rely On Each Other To Survive
Maybe they got lost while hiking and can’t find the trail. Maybe they were in a car, bike or plane accident in a remote area where they’re not likely to be found for a while. Maybe they were in a shipwreck and washed up on an island. Feel free to kill as many original characters as you need. They can also think canon characters whose death would hit my dnw are dead through the majority of the fic (maybe they got separated from someone else at some point and assume the worst) as long as they aren’t actually dead. I would strongly prefer a hopeful ending. Either a rescue or finding their way back home on their own.
Postpartum Body Worship
After so many years staying in peak shape for his career, whichever one had a baby probably feels pretty self-conscious about his body. The other shows him how attractive he still is.
Omega/Omega couples often have trouble conceiving (not these two though. Whoops)
Maybe they’re lax with their birth control because they know the odds are low so they’re not that worried about it. Maybe they decided to both go off their birth control at the same time to double their chances and then when one got pregnant the other would go back on, only for both to get pregnant at the same time.

This is one of those kinks where I'm the most interested in it when the characters are into it. Just increasingly extreme size play. Realism optional. They do a lot of stretching to stay limber for their career and maybe one of them has decided that something else needs to be stretched too.
Character hides the extent of their injury/illness (and gets found out)
Maybe he really wants to compete and knows he wouldn't be allowed if everyone knew how hurt or sick he is.
Character that acts tough and stoic is secretly vulnerable and needs to be tenderly fucked

This could be a temporary thing, like one needing to carry the other away from danger, or it could be a long term permanent thing, like one has been hurt very badly in a way he will never fully recover from, or something in between with one helping the other get around while he heals from a temporary injury that is keeping him off his feet.
Non-penetrative grinding until orgasm
I like it when they're just so deperate for each other that they don't even manage to get their clothes off.
Pregnant Sex
Body worship, difficulty positioning, increased sensation, second trimester horniness, celebrating getting to finally have sex the other way around now that the one who was trying to get pregnant has finally managed it.
